- Can we use our own contract?
- Yes. You place fields on your own PDF rather than adopting a template we wrote. The document a customer signs is the one your business already uses.
- Do documents fill themselves in?
- Yes. Job, customer and estimate data merge into the template, so the address, the scope and the price come from the record rather than being retyped.
- If we change a template, does it change contracts already signed?
- No. Templates are versioned, so a signed contract keeps the terms it was signed under. Changing a template affects future documents only.
- Where do signed documents end up?
- Filed on the job automatically, alongside the estimate, photos and plans — not in an email thread someone has to find.
